Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how Daisy Dew Party Bags handles personalised party-bag requests, design approval, pricing, payment and fulfilment.
1. About Daisy Dew
“Daisy Dew”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Daisy Dew Party Bags. We provide curated and personalised children’s party bags and related personalised finishing.
You can contact us at orders@daisy-dew.com, by phone on 07368 580884, or by WhatsApp using the contact links on our website.
Business postal address: ADD BEFORE PUBLIC LAUNCH.
2. How an order is created
The website lets you submit a creative brief containing the child’s age, theme, style, personalisation, quantity, event date and other preferences. We review that brief before accepting the order.
Where needed, we may send a design direction or final production notes for customer approval. We will also confirm the final customer price and any delivery charge before payment is requested.
A contract is formed when we accept the order and receive the payment or first payment that we have requested. For a short-notice request, a contract is only formed after we confirm that we can accommodate the date and receive the required payment.
3. Curated and personalised designs
Daisy Dew bags are curated rather than fixed, identical product bundles. Your age collection, theme, style mood, colours and notes guide the final design, but the exact bag, pattern, contents and finishing may vary according to availability, age suitability, season and the agreed creative direction.
We will not make a material change to an expressly agreed personalised detail without contacting you. Where an item becomes unavailable, we may use a reasonably comparable alternative of similar purpose, quality and value where that does not materially change the agreed design.
4. Booking windows
Orders exactly 28 days from the event are treated as short-notice requests and are subject to availability. Acceptance may depend on materials, capacity, personalisation and delivery feasibility.
5. Prices and delivery charges
Prices shown while building a Daisy Dew plan are estimates based on the selected collection, quantity and options. Specialist materials, custom requests, unusual quantities or delivery requirements may affect the final price.
Any revised final price or delivery charge will be communicated before payment. We will not increase an agreed price after payment without your agreement, except where a further customer-requested change creates an additional agreed cost.
6. Payment
For events 29 or more days away, we may offer either full payment or a 50% advance payment. If a 50% advance payment is made, the remaining balance is due 28 days before the event.
For an accepted short-notice order within 28 days, full payment is required before production begins. Where a balance becomes due on an existing advance-payment order, production may be paused until the balance has been received.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Daisy Dew does not receive or store your full card number.
7. Customer approval and accuracy
Please check names, ages, dates, spelling, colours and other personalised wording carefully when we ask you to approve a design or production direction. Once personalised production has begun, some changes may no longer be possible or may involve additional cost.
If we made an error compared with the approved information, we will treat that as our responsibility. If the approved information supplied by you contained the error, we will still try to help, but remaking personalised goods may involve an additional agreed charge.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Our detailed policy is set out on the Cancellations & Refunds page. Because Daisy Dew goods are personalised or made to customer specifications, the normal change-of-mind cancellation right that applies to many online purchases does not generally apply to those personalised/custom-made goods.
Before personalised production has begun, we will deal with cancellations fairly and any amount retained will reflect reasonable losses or costs already incurred rather than an automatic forfeiture of all payments.
9. Delivery
Our detailed delivery terms are on the Delivery Policy page. We normally plan fulfilment so that the order is expected to arrive around 2–3 working days before the event unless another arrangement is agreed.
The delivery charge and expected delivery arrangement will be confirmed before payment. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or materially different from the approved order, please contact us promptly with the order reference and, where useful, photographs. We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to faulty goods, goods that are not as described, or liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Events outside reasonable control
Occasionally, events such as courier disruption, severe weather, supplier failure or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect fulfilment. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact. This does not remove any statutory rights you have where timing or delivery is legally important.
12. Contact and complaints
If something is not right, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it quickly.
13. Applicable law
These terms do not take away any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live in the United Kingdom. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, the courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may deal with it.
